It wasn't always pretty, but Edgewood did what it took to get back into the win column with a 53 - 47 victory over visiting Shakamak. The Mustangs led at every break but found themselves trailing by 4 mid-way through the 4th quarter. However, from there, Edgewood went on a 10 - 0 run to end the game and secure the win. Caden Jones led the Mustangs with 23 points, while Luke Druckrey and Karson Gladhill scored 8 each. In addition, Evan Jacobs scored 5 points, Reece Roberts had 4, Carter Hayden scored 3 points, and AJ Norris had 2 to complete the scoring for Edgewood. Jones also led the rebounding effort with 7, with Druckrey adding 5. Druckrey and Norris both had 3 assists, and Hayden and Jacobs had 2 steals each to lead those categories. The Mustangs play next on Friday, Feb. 20 when they host Mitchell.
