Edgewood did everything but come away with the win in a heartbreaking 52 - 50 loss to Bloomington North. The Mustangs kept the game close throughout and led 50 - 46 on a Caden Jones 3-pointer with 1:03 remaining. Unfortunately, a couple of missed free throws by Edgewood and two made 3's from the Cougars in the final minute decided the outcome. Reece Roberts scored a career-high 18 points to lead the Mustangs, while Caden Jones added 14. Rounding out the scoring was Karson Gladhill with 6 points, AJ Norris and Luke Druckrey with 5 each, and Carter Hayden with 2 points. Druckrey pulled down 7 rebounds and Roberts added 5 boards to go along with 3 assists, while Evan Jacobs dished out 4 assists and had 2 steals, and Norris also had 2 steals for Edgewood. The Mustangs have a quick turnaround as they travel to Cascade on Saturday afternoon for a 1:30 start.
